Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island's West Coast, lets you step back in time to a simpler era. Guests experience the best of Hawaiian local hospitality from the resort staff. The town of Kona and the beautiful beach is a short walk from our rustic but comfortable accommodations. This tropical vacation paradise features two outdoor pools, hot tubs, and a children's pool. Guests can also use the workout room, and the beautiful picnic areas and barbecue grills around the property. A credit card security deposit is charged upon arrival.

The Big Island has a wide assortment of recreational opportunities that take into account the area's lush vegetation and magnificent scenery. The property provides guests access to hiking, windsurfing, water-skiing, mountain biking, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and more. A trip to Mauna Kea is recommended as well as a visit to the Place of Refuge. There is also a Circle Island Bus Tour for those who want to see a lot of the Big Island. A golf course is nearby for those who want to hit the links. Kona is not far from the resort so guests can walk or drive to town and shop at the local stores, and dine at restaurants that serve both Polynesian and International cuisine.

Unit Highlights

The units at Wyndham Kona Hawaiian Resort are two-bedroom units that can accommodate up to six people. Each unit features a full kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave, a washer and dryer, internet access, cable TV, and two bathrooms. Some units are townhouse style and require stairs to access the bedrooms. The upper (A side) units have approximately 13 steps.
