What are the requirements to trade my week?
Home Resort Membership - To be eligible to trade with Hopaway Holiday, you must keep your maintenance fees, taxes, cleaning fees and other similar charges current with your home resort.
Hopaway Holiday Membership - To participate in the Hopaway Holiday trade program, your membership must be current.
All fees must be paid to your home resort and Hopaway Holiday before you can deposit with Hopaway Holiday. All fees must remain current through the final travel date of the trade requested.
How do I initiate the trade process?
  1. Mail your Cabin Package Certificate to Travel to Resorts of America.
  2. Ensure proof of mailing by Certified Mail, UPS or Federal Express. Mail to:

May I cancel my confirmed trade?
No. All confirmed trades are final and non-refundable.
What if I have problems with my payments after I trade a week?
Hopaway Holiday reserves the right without refund to cancel a confirmed trade or otherwise deny the trade privileges of any Member who has not paid maintenance fee assessments or similar charge with respect to your Travel Resorts of America Membership. Additional penalties apply. You will be charged $250.00 unless fees to home resort are made current through departure date of your confirmed trade. This fee must be paid prior to the use of your Membership privileges.
Where can I trade with Hopaway Holiday?
You may trade to almost any vacation destination in the world. As a Member you have access to both outdoor resorts and vacation condominium resorts.
May I upgrade to a larger unit than the one I deposited?
When you need more space than a one-bedroom our program is designed to allow unit size upgrades and even holiday upgrades for a small fee. Upgrade fees start at $99, depending on variables of season, unit, availability and reservation lead-time.
What are the trade fees?
Condominium fees are $99. Fees are subject to change.
How long before my trade is confirmed?
Most requests can be confirmed immediately. However, trade requests are not guaranteed.
What if a trade is not available?
A trade may not be available when you first inquire, but become available at a later date. Since availability continually changes you may request we conduct an ongoing search for a match.
How far in advance may I request a trade and how close my travel dates?
Trade requests may be made 72 hours to 12 months in advance. Trade requests are not guaranteed and arranged on a space-available basis.
What do you have to pay at the resort?
You are responsible for payment of any expenses incurred while occupying the unit you receive, as well as any damage, theft or loss caused by you or any of your guests. Fees, if any, incurred by you for the use of resort facilities, are determined and collected by the individual resort. If there are any taxes or resort fees, they will be collected by the resort upon check-in.
