People who visit Alberta's little all-season town of Canmore (pop. 16,000) have big city expectations. Once a coal town, Canmore gained notoriety during the 1988 Winter Oympics, and it's been booming ever since as a recreation hot spot. Just 70 miles from Calgary, Canmore is nestled in Alberta's Bow Valley, surrounded by mountains and wildlife. It's the perfect locale for fishing, climbing, canoeing, all kinds of winter sports, and more. Banff Natl Park is 7.5 miles from the resort and Lake Louise is an hour away. In town: galleries, quilters, stained-glass artists and blacksmiths can be found.

This four-season area is a haven for golfing, hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, kayaking, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and heli skiing. Explore and hike Banff National Park. Sunshine Village, Lake Louise, and Mount Norquay offer some of North America's greatest skiing.

Unit Highlights

Worldmark Canmore-Banff units have air conditioning, a telephone, a TV and a CD player. The units have a microwave/convection oven, four burners, full fridge and dishwasher and coffee maker. Units do not have full ovens. Laundry facilities are available at the resort, and not in the units. Studios sleep 2 with a queen bed and 1 bath. 1 bedroom units Max 4/Pri 2, have a queen bed, a sleep sofa and 1 bath. 2 bedroom units Max 6/Pri 4 have a king bed, a queen bed, a sleep sofa and 2 baths. A credit card deposit is required. You must be at least 21 to check in. All units are non-smoking. Pets are not allowed. Occupancy limits are enforced. The resort outdoor pool is heated, and is open all year.
