Jaco is located in the province of Puntarenas in Costa Rica. It is one of the most popular destinations in the country and boasts great popularity among surfers. Jacó is a coastal village that belongs to Garabito and has approximately 7000 residents. Jacó is seen as a destination for sun and sand, but also has a variety of natural and adventure activities for all visitors including: canopy & ATV tours, horseback riding, botanical gardens and of course, surfing lessons. Remember, all of this is located only 1.5 hours from the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose and the Juan Santamaría International Airport.
