The resort can be reached via 6km of unpaved road and in the area there is no signal for mobile phones. Nestled in a valley in the Umbrian countryside La Casella Eco Resort offers an ecological choice for holidaymakers who want to feel at one with the natural habitat around them. Originally an 870-acre rural agricultural village, owned by a single landowner, La Casella was converted into a Vacation Resort by refurbishing the abandoned village houses following strict conservation criterias to preserve Umbria’s heritage. Destination Highlights

La Casella is situated in Ficulle in the Umbria region in central Italy. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside with unpaved roads in a valley full of poplars, oaks and larch trees and with a stream running through the actual property. The area could be used as a starting point for an excursion to Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Siena, Assisi and Montepulciano. You coudl also take a day trip either to Firenze or Rome, both within three hours driving time. The resort has a number of its own horses and qualified staff to provide riding lessons and organise hiking and excursions.

Unit Highlights

Hotel rooms for two guests; one-bedroom units sleep from two to four guests; two-bedroom units accommodate from four to six visitors. Bedrooms have a combination of king-size beds and twin beds. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the covered porch with additional seating. Tiled bathrooms have toilets as well as bidets.
