The Fortina Spa Resort is a resort where the facilities are among the best in class for a five-star hotel. The timeshare resort consists of 50 units and out of these only 2 are in the 4 star wing of the hotel. Guests are able to do as much or as little as they choose with ideal facilities for relaxing or active types. The Fortina overlooks the island's majestic capital, Valletta, and has some great panoramic views from the front, out to sea and over to Marsamxetto harbor. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the overall ambience is mellow and sophisticated. Sliema is a city located on the northeast coast of Malta. It is a center for shopping, restaurants and café life. Sliema is also a major commercial and residential area and houses several of Malta's most modern hotels. Sliema, which means "peace, comfort," was once a quiet fishing village on the peninsula across Marsamxett Harbour from Valletta. Now Sliema and the coastline up to neighboring St. Julian's constitutes Malta's main coastal resort.

Units comprise studios sleeping 2, one bedroom sleeping 4 and two bedroom sleeping 4 with double bed and/or twin beds. There are no kitchen facilities. Some units have shower room only (no bathtub). All have air conditioning, telephone and satellite TV.
