Situated close to The Hub of Aviemore, Scandinavian Village has all conveniences of the village within a 10-minute walk, including pubs, restaurants, a grocery store, and even the town's train station. The resort's villas can accommodate up to six people and the apartments and Cairngorm Suite can accommodate up to four people, with great views of the Cairngorms National Park. Winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, and ice climbing are close by, and hiking and golf are popular in the summer.

The resort's spacious, well kept units are furnished in the modern Scandinavian style, with clean, blond wood tables, chairs, and accents. Each unit has a large-screen TV with cable connection and DVD player. In-suite Internet connection is also included. Kitchens are fully equipped with a stove, a refrigerator and freezer, a dish washer, a microwave, cutlery, and tableware. Each unit has a private bathroom with shower stall.
