Tree House Vacations

Crumpler, North Carolina

The accommodations are in a secluded glen, which surrounds a natural spring which is said to have healing properties.

Resort Description:

This tree house rental near Boone, North Carolina, can accommodate two guests, great for couples looking for a unique place to have a romantic getaway. Built with repurposed wood from an Ashe County homestead that was over 100 years old, this tree house can also be considered eco-friendly. It comes with a cozy queen-size bed, a sitting area, and a private bathroom, as well as a small deck with outdoor seating that overlooks the surrounding woodlands and a brook.

The bathroom's shower has walls that are made from galvanized tin that was reclaimed from an old barn (and has a rain shower head!), and the roof is also made of tin. The tree house also comes with a mini-fridge and a coffee maker (complete with coffee and sweeteners). There is both a ceiling fan and air conditioning for when temperatures start to rise along with heat for the cooler months.

Perched upon tree poles in the woods, guests will have to walk up a path in the forest and then up a flight of stairs to reach the tree house. Parking is not far away, but guests should keep in mind they will have to walk up a slight hill and then the aforementioned stairway.
