Tree House Vacations
Volcano, Hawaii
This tree house hotel in Hawaii is located in the rain forest that extends into Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Resort Description:
This tree house next to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii was designed and built by Roderick Romero, a famed tree house builder known as the "Architect of the Skies." The bedroom is on the top level, with its own lanai, and on the primary level is the living room, an outdoor shower, a bathroom with composting toilet, a food prep area, primary lanai, and a hot tub.
Access to the first level is over lava boulders set into the side of the lava tube and up a ship's ladder. The bed is queen-size, and there is also comfortable seating on leather upholstered easy chairs in the living room. Guests may eat at the indoor window table or out under the covered lanai at a teak table.
There is a one-time cleaning fee of $95 per stay.
