Whispering Pines Campground and Lodging is in the center of all your favorite Black Hills activities.
Our cabins are "sleeping" cabins which have bunkbeds and mattresses - you must bring along your own linens or sleeping bags. If you forget to bring your linens or choose not to, we do have linens for rent. Cabin guests use the nearby campground showers, restrooms, and laundry. All cabins have electricity provided with a mini-fridge and microwave.
We are the closest full service campground to Pactola Reservoir. Just 100 yards down our beautiful country road you can hike the Centennial Trail. A bit further, visit the old mining town of Silver City, not a tourist center by any means but, full of nature trails, fishing holes (the locals prefer Jenny Gulch and Rapid Creek), abandoned gold and silver mines, and a host of wildlife
