Resort Description:

Lakewood Village Resort is located north of Dayton and is close to Ohio Caverns, a must-see tourist attraction filled with colorful stalactite and stalagmite formations. German immigrants helped grow the neighboring hamlet of Wapakoneta to a thriving city now brimming with antiques shops, specialty stores and an eclectic mix of restaurants. Wapakoneta is also home to the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum, named for the town's native son, the first man to walk on the Moon.

The resort is conveniently situated between two large bodies of water - Indian Lake and Grand Lake St. Marys.

No license is required to fish in the resort's three natural ponds, so be sure to bring your fishing gear. In the warmer months, you and your family can relax on the beach and put the rowboats and pedal boats to good use. Whatever the season unwind in the indoor pool and two hot tubs and toast your cares away in the sauna.

Outdoors, you can make memories with your family playing miniature golf, horseshoes, sand volleyball, shuffleboard and basketball. There's a playground for the kids and several large shelters for group gatherings. Head inside to take advantage of the clubhouse, game room, convenience store and laundry room.
