Thirty miles outside of Spokane, past the Turnbull Wildlife Refuge, scenic Williams Lake is home to Klink’s Williams Lake Resort. Open April through September, Klink’s is a seasonal RV resort that offers great fun to be had by the entire family. Klink’s has created the feel of its own little town, complete with store.
The season kicks off during the last weekend of April, when fishing season officially begins. At the stroke of midnight, kids and adults alike jockey for places on the dock to drop their line. Klink’s has practically everything one could need for their little getaway. There are numerous fishing boats with motors for rent for those avid fisherman out there, kayak rentals, and paddleboats for the kids. The swimming area features a sandy beach and a swim platform with a slide.
Though fishing on Williams Lake is fantastic, the lake is also perfect for water skiing and tubing, as it is 3 miles long. The onsite restaurant is the perfect place to grab a cool drink or a bite after a long day. Relax, sit by the campfire, roast marshmallows or read a book on the beach.
