Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch is an amazing mountain hideaway near Gunnison, Colorado with cabins, clubhouses, pools, mini-golf, activities and great amenities in a classic western setting. All of our amenities are close by and our resort is perfect for evening walks and bike rides. Besides fishing, the resort offers such recreational opportunities as hunting and boating, and it resides in an expansive outdoor playground for 4-wheeling, horseback riding, and hiking.

Set in a valley surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, Blue Mesa Ranch sits at an elevation of 7,500 ft. The resort is just a stone's throw from the waters of Blue Mesa Reservoir, a 26- mile long lake with 96 miles of shoreline. Breathtaking scenic drives in this area reveal such wonders as volcanic landscapes and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison River. For its width, the dramatic 55-mile long canyon is the deepest abyss in the world well over a mile to the churning river below. There are two full service marinas on the lake.
